The Enrico Fermi Research Center - CREF promotes original and high-impact lines of research, based on physical methods, but with a strong interdisciplinary character and in relation to the main problems of the modern knowledge society.
The CREF was born with a dual soul: a research centre and a historical museum. Its aim is to preserve and disseminate the memory of Enrico Fermi and to promote the dissemination and communication of scientific culture.

Since November 2025, I have been a PhD student at Sapienza University of Rome, in collaboration with CREF, focusing on innovative applications of physics in medicine, particularly on developing a new approach for real-time tumor tracking and dose delivery in particle therapy.
I graduated in Physics at Sapienza, in the Fundamental Interactions: Theory and Experiment curriculum. For my Master’s thesis within the FOOT experiment, I worked on the optimization of the vertex detector and the analysis of experimental data and Monte Carlo simulations.
My scientific interest stems from a desire to connect fundamental research in physics with practical applications, contributing to the development of innovative methodologies and tools for medicine.
