Machine Learning in the agro-food sector. Claudia Scatigno at ASI Symposium

The “Bridging Knowledge: Artificial Intelligence” symposium took place on 22 and 23 May 2024 at the Rome headquarters of the Italian Space Agency. Its aim was to encourage the creation of new interdisciplinary networks by using Artificial Intelligence in space applications of interest to ASI.

The symposium presented relevant Artificial Intelligence methodologies in different disciplines, such as astrophysics, biology, medicine, Earth observation and fluid dynamics.  Claudia Scatigno of CREF intervened as an invited speaker in the round table on “Life Sciences”, presenting the research “Spectroscopic Benchmarks extracted by Machine Learning” on the importance of Machine Learning in the spectroscopic analysis of organic materials and its use in the agro-food sector.
