The CREF was born with a dual soul: a research centre and a historical museum. Its aim is to preserve and disseminate the memory of Enrico Fermi and to promote the dissemination and communication of scientific culture.

Marta Pepe
- Administrative Officer - Head of the Communications and Events Office
I have a humanities background and previously worked at the Ministry of Culture, where I handled promotion, press office duties, and web content.
I have been working at CREF since 2013, and as of 2025, I am the Head of the Communication and Events Office.
My responsibilities include the administrative and logistical management of CREF events, the organization and coordination of visits to the Fermi Museum, institutional communication, and updating the websites.
