LUCA MALAGOLI

Secondary school teacher, currently a research fellow at the Enrico Fermi Research Center.

After completing his PhD in Physics and several post-doctoral fellowships, including one awarded for collaborating on the design of exhibits for “La Palestra della Scienza” (“The Science Gym”) at MUSE and writing the accompanying captions, I continued my work in science education and outreach as Scientific Director of the Scale Museum (Museo della Bilancia), curating exhibitions and scientific tours for primary school classes and the general public and training museum guides.

At the same time, I continued my work in science communication, combining popular science books and experiments with refresher courses on science and literature for school and library staff, in collaboration with the Equilibri social cooperative in Modena. I am a contract lecturer for both UniPZ (Philosophy of Science for UniPZ) and UniMORE (Physics 2, at Engineering; Physics and Chemistry at Primary Education Sciences; Physics 1 for Green and Sustainable Chemistry). I am the author of the graphic novel Telemark, published by Sinnos in April 2024.

Three children, one dog, six cats, and two bicycles.
