The Enrico Fermi Research Center - CREF promotes original and high-impact lines of research, based on physical methods, but with a strong interdisciplinary character and in relation to the main problems of the modern knowledge society.
The CREF was born with a dual soul: a research centre and a historical museum. Its aim is to preserve and disseminate the memory of Enrico Fermi and to promote the dissemination and communication of scientific culture.

I graduated in Biomedical Engineering from La Sapienza University and now I am a PhD student at the University of Roma Tre, supported by a fellowship co-funded by the Fondazione Santa Lucia IRCCS. I work at the research center of the Fondazione Santa Lucia hospital under the supervision of Professor Federico Giove, focusing on the development of quantitative magnetic resonance imaging techniques and image processing, both applied to spinal cord pathologies. My research aims to identify quantitative metrics that can improve clinical assessment, prognosis, and the recovery of impaired sensorimotor functions
