Enrico Fermi’s life told in four short films.
The videos are part of the exposition of the Enrico Fermi Museum present in the Palazzina in Via Panisperna, now home to the Enrico Fermi Research Center (CREF).
The idea that prompted the creation of the CREF was to bring the famous ‘building’ of Via Panisperna back to a scientific use that honored the memory of Enirco Fermi and his group of “boys from via Panisperna” who, with the their fundamental discoveries have made a crucial contribution to modern physics. CREF aims to pursue two different but complementary objectives. On the one hand, by virtue of the setting up of a museum dedicated to the scientific heritage of Fermi, to offer a wide dissemination and communication of his life and his discoveries. The museum activity also includes different types of initiatives for the dissemination and dissemination of scientific culture aimed at a wide and varied audience, with particular attention to schools and universities. On the other hand, CREF has its own scientific activity oriented towards the present and the future, with a nucleus of particularly original and innovative research precisely in the spirit that has characterized Enrico Fermi’s activities.
