CREF promotes original and high-impact lines of research, based on physical methods, but with a strong interdisciplinary character and in relation to the main problems of the modern knowledge society.
The CREF was born with a dual soul: a research centre and a historical museum. Its aim is to preserve and disseminate the memory of Enrico Fermi and to promote the dissemination and communication of scientific culture.

I obtained a Master’s Degree in Physics at La Sapienza University (110/110 cum laude) under the supervision of Prof. Maurizio Mattia with a thesis on “Nonlinear neuronal dynamics in premotor cortical network underlying movement planning and inhibition”.
I am currently doing a PhD in Physics at Tor Vergata University under the supervision of Maurizio Mattia (ISS) and Giulio Cimini (CREF) on “biological machine learning and neurophysics”.
My main interests are brain physics, machine learning, artificial neural networks, dynamical systems and statistical field theories.
