The Enrico Fermi Research Center - CREF promotes original and high-impact lines of research, based on physical methods, but with a strong interdisciplinary character and in relation to the main problems of the modern knowledge society.
The CREF was born with a dual soul: a research centre and a historical museum. Its aim is to preserve and disseminate the memory of Enrico Fermi and to promote the dissemination and communication of scientific culture.

I am a first year PhD student at Sapienza University of Rome jointly with CREF. I’ve obtained my Master Degree at Sapienza University of Rome in Theoretical Physics under the supervision of Francesca Tria and Alberto Petri with a thesis named “Avalanches of Novelties and Non Novelties in Written Texts” in which I have studied the statistical properties of Written Texts introducing the concept of Avalanches of Novelties and Non Novelties that comes alongside to the current state of art in this field. Under the supervision of Andrea Tacchella I am currently working on Natural Language Processing techniques that making use of Neural Networks are able to predict Technological Innovations.
