CREF promotes original and high-impact lines of research, based on physical methods, but with a strong interdisciplinary character and in relation to the main problems of the modern knowledge society.
The CREF was born with a dual soul: a research centre and a historical museum. Its aim is to preserve and disseminate the memory of Enrico Fermi and to promote the dissemination and communication of scientific culture.

After obtaining a three-year degree in Astronomy at the Alma Mater Studiorum in Bologna, I had the opportunity to attend the Master’s Degree in Science Teaching and Communication, a newly established course of study based on modern Science Education, within which I selected the curriculum in Science Communication in Museums. Finally, I attended a Master’s degree in Scientific Communication at the University of Parma to specialize in the communication sector.
I am involved in scientific outreach and dissemination activities at the “Enrico Fermi Historical Museum of Physics and Study and Research Center” in Rome, where I hold a junior scholarship. Specifically, as part of the “Bringing Science into Schools and Society” project, I carry out guided tours at the Museum (both for citizens and school groups) and dedicate myself to designing and producing teaching material for secondary schools.
