The Enrico Fermi Research Center - CREF promotes original and high-impact lines of research, based on physical methods, but with a strong interdisciplinary character and in relation to the main problems of the modern knowledge society.
The CREF was born with a dual soul: a research centre and a historical museum. Its aim is to preserve and disseminate the memory of Enrico Fermi and to promote the dissemination and communication of scientific culture.

I graduated with a thesis in Theoretical Physics from Sapienza University: “Ergodicity and Consensus in Simple Recommender Systems Models” under the supervision of Professor Luciano Pietronero. I am a PhD student working in the framework of the CREF/SONY and Sapienza joint initiative.
My research mainly focuses on the dynamics of opinions on social networks and understanding how polarization and segregation emerge in this context. Particular attention is given to the emergence of novelties and innovation and how they arise in many situations, from technological to social and economic. I am also interested in economic complexity and the application of existing methods to new datasets and situations, with a particular focus on firm networks. I also want to explore theoretical aspects of data-driven methodologies and algorithms applied in economics.
